VAT online filing

From April 2010 you may have to submit your VAT Returns online and pay any VAT due electronically.

This will be the case for businesses that;

• have an annual turnover of £100,000 or more; or
• register or should have registered for VAT on or after 1 April 2010.

What if your turnover is below £100,000?

You can still switch to the online service now, it can save you time and it may give you extra days to
submit your return and pay the VAT due.

What do I need to do to consider?

• How will you pay (e.g. DD, Internet banking)? Do you need to contact
