Happenings at the Hub The exciting timetable at the Hub continues to offer our clients and local community much needed suitable facilities for leisure and learning activities. The Where Next Hub has hosted a number of evening forums again this year. These are always well attended and provide a valuable source of information for our parents and carers. Up to date timetable details are shown on our website and social media pages, along with leaflets being sent out for upcoming events. Friends of Where Next The first FOWN social fundraising event was held in September at the Where Next Hub. The Quiz night included a fish and chip supper along with a raffle and a total of £691 was raised. This money will be used towards providing all clients with a new Where Next branded polo shirt in line with our new look. The event was well supported by local businesses and a jolly good time had by one and all. If you are interested in joining this group and helping organise future events, please let me have your contact details and I will pass them on to the team. Halloween Spooktacular What fiendish fun……This ever popular event enticed victims down the rabbit hole into the twisted fairytale greenhouse. How spooky is that? Did you dare to come along and get into the ‘spirit’? Winners of this year’s fancy dress competition were Jason New as Spooky Prince Charming and Neil Pratt as the undead Mad Hatter!!!!! Long Service Awards Congratulations to everyone who received a long service award during the year. 20 year awards go to Leo Clutton and Jeffrey Hughes. 10 year awards go to: Sarah Savage, Richard Daykin, Jamie Humphries, Jessica Hiles and Nick Watkins Clients’ Christmas Party Don’t forget, Thursday 15th December, 7:30pm. This year our Christmas Party will be at the Studley Road Social Club, Lodge Park and will include a disco, buffet and raffle. Tickets are available from all Where Next sites.
